What a Year!!
2014 was an exciting year full of blessings and challenges. As I spent time reflecting this morning on just how much has happened, it became clear just how blessed we truly are.
Brad and I have been fortunate to be able to split our time between Florida and Colorado – and have been very blessed to have jobs that support it. We’ve met lots of great people in both places who have enriched our lives in so many ways.
This year we were fortunate enough to be able to do ministry work together with the Youth and Young Adults groups at Calvary Church. We’ve also been fortunate to be able to do this ministry work with some of our very best friends.
We had fun at Student Life camp with the kiddos from Calvary and everyone had fun with Brad dressing up as Santa Claus Church (as one of our students so affectionately renamed him in the church profile system!).
This year the Lord prompted me to launch this blog called www.beatifullyrestored.net where He is asking me to Make My Mess My Message… He also prompted me to co-lead a post-abortion recovery study with a precious friend of mine. Watching the lives change of the women who took this journey was such a privilege – I am so thankful for that opportunity!
We’ve had several ups and downs with Worth Shipping Services this year as well and we still believe that God has big plans for this business and will use it to glorify His Kingdom.
We’ve even watched the Lord bring several precious babies into our friends’ lives this year. It’s been such an honor to walk with these special couples as they have prepared for these little ones and so much fun meeting these boys (all were boys!) as they’ve entered the world.
Despite how ugly, depressing and demanding the world is growing around us, we choose to live a life that is aligned with our Maker and act according to His will for our lives. We desire nothing more than to glorify and grow His Kingdom, however that may take shape in the road God leads us down.
We want to thank everyone who has walked with us this year and in years past. We look forward to another amazing year, trusting that God will guide our path each step of the way.
We love you and wish you a wonderful New Year filled with many blessings!
