Our Heavenly Father makes promises and reveals truths to us through His word and I often find myself desiring to pray His words back to Him. These are a few verses that I cling to that have really spoken to my heart. May they be a blessing to you as well.
Comfort
…He comforts us in all our afflictions, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves received from God… 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrows for rejoicing. (Jeremiah 31:13)

The Lord, the King of Israel, is with you; never again will you fear any harm…. The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3:15, 17)

Plan and Purpose
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares The Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; You formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God – you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration – what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before You, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. (Psalm 139:13-16)
Restoration
I [God] will restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten… Joel 2:25

…you did not receive a spirit of slavery… you received the Spirit of adoption… we are God’s children… also heirs… (Romans 8:14-17)
Trust
Trust in The Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right path. Proverbs 3:5-6
The Enemy/Deceiver
… He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44b)
