Beautifully Restored

I have to share my morning inspiration today.

After taking a small hiatus to finish up our Surrendering the Secret study at church (which was AMAZING, by the way) and to take our high school kiddos to church camp (which was EXHAUSTING, yet AMAZING, by the way), I am back to writing.

This morning I am sitting on my back deck in Colorado with God’s beauty all around me. I can hear the birds chirping – specifically the daddy robin who is hunting to feed his little chicks and a timid little hummingbird who is being chased by another. I can hear my hubby and his brothers playing ping-pong downstairs, laughing and having fun. And I hear my in-laws upstairs chit-chatting and enjoying the morning.

As I look at the mountains around me and listen to the joy in and around my home, I am thankful. Thankful that The Lord has blessed me beyond what I ever could have imagined.

I promise my next post will be coming soon, but in the mean time, I had to share my morning inspiration.
